Bakers Biscuits
Quick to cover themselves

Shops, Products, Services

On a recent trip back from Durban to Johannesburg, my family and I decided to purchase a box of Royal Creams, being an age old favourite in my household. Unfortunately, it did not take us too long to realise that biscuits contained a foreign ingredient, what appeared to be human hair. The biscuits come in separately sealed packets so, fortunately for us, we could prove that the ingredient was there prior to purchasing the box, by keeping a packet completely sealed. We called Bakers the next day (as we returned from Durban on a Sunday) and within a day they had someone over to pick up the sealed packet.

Unfortunately, that was the last time we heard from Bakers. Excepting that they have provided us with a reference number that you can do absolutely nothing with - 0000212348.

Next time, I won't fool myself into believing that assisting Bakers would even lead to them refunding you for the packet of biscuits they sold to you and were so quick to recover when it was brought to their attention that it was contaminated.

Thanks Bakers.
