Cadbury Chomps Old and Hard

I bought a pack of 30 mini chomps on Friday at Pick 'n Pay Kenilworth, which was for party packets. The chomps is hard and has an old taste.

Lucky i opened one before putting it in the party packets, how can one give old eatable to kids to consume?

Very disappointed!!!
