In February this year I purchased 3 pairs on sunglasses as gifts and one for myself. Two of the stones have fallen off and upon contacting the manager, Keano I was advised that the area manager who visits once a week makes a decision on repairs to their stock that's still under warranty but he can not tell me how long it would take for her decision and since I don't have proof of purchase I can not be assisted although I did say that it was purchased on a company credit card and I would provide him with card details. He said that it was my job to pull bank statements as the documents for Feb was already sent to Guess head office. It wasn't the head office responsibility to pull my receipt. The arrogance in his voice was beyond belief! It's a pity that I had to have this bad experience from a brand that i very regularly support. It's also not so much about what he said but how he said it! I have R20 sunglasses for years with no stones missing and this R1000 plus sunglasses which is Guess branded has two stones missing in under 5 months and I am told that I can not be assisted because I won't pull out bank statements... food for thought!!
