Return Policy

Hi,

On 26/06/13 I purchased a Nokia 510 on the vodacom network via my credit card. Whilst I was busy setting up my phone, I have discovered that the Bluetooth does not connect to other devices. Fine, I can live with that. Then I realised that I could not access vodacoms *111# menu and I cannot do my cellphone banking. To me, those are features that should come standard with any phone. So after checking out some Nokia/Vodacom forums, it appears that this is a manufacturer fault.

On Sunday morning (30/06/2013), I wanted to return the phone and exchange it for another device and pay the difference.. Now, I didnt have my slip with me but I presented Game stores with my bank statement, clearly reflecting my Nokia purchase on Wednesday afternoon. They couldnt take it saying they require the actual proof of purchase. What I dont understand is, how come other retail stores like Incredible Connection and Makro, when you present them with a bank statement they can trace my proof of purchase and refund me my money back or exchange my product with no hassles?

If this is how Game Stores operate with their returns policy, then I am very disappointed.

Regards,
Gradual Shabangu
