External hard drive was told thy won't fix it

Hi hi well I got a external for game in east london for my DJing so I DJ allot use it allot but its under warentee so I took it to the game in pretoria wonderpark and a few days later thy called me to tell me thy won't fix it coz I opend it but I don't know anything about that stuff so there is no way ill open it I don't even know how so now I need to go get my broken and unfixed external and its under warentee till next year pleas help
