On Wednesday, June 12 we bought a Sony VACS Mini Hi-Fi Component System LBT-SHZ000 at R9000 for a 21st Birthday party for Saturday June 15th. The Hi-Fi was promised for 13:00, but only delivered at 19:00! This didn't even allow enough time to check that it's working.By 20:00 we discovered that the Welcome Display Screen wasn't working at all! We phoned Patricia at the Warehouse, she said it needs to be installed properly. We had to drive all the way back to the store with the heavy product - the sale staff confirmed the display was broken, but to still use it as it was still playing music and that we could not exchange it before the weekend due to stocktake - only on Tuesday the 18th. On Saturday night, the Hi-Fi bombed out completely with the venue filled with people! We were forced to play music from someone's car - how humiliating. This was a very bad customer service experience, we would like to cancel this whole transaction to avoid further disappointment & inconvenience!
