In September 2012, I gave in my portable DVD unit in for repairs at CNA Clearwater Mall to Thabo. The repair process took approximately 4 months. Upon picking up the repaired unit, I noticed that the unit charger was not given back to me. Thabo agreed to contact master care to query about the charger. This to date, has not been resolved. I contacted Edcon to lay a complaint and contacted master care. Edcon has promised to call me back of which has not been done to date.
When I recently tried to switch on the unit using the car charger, I noticed that the unit was not repaired as the sound was off and the picture was extremely unclear. This repair process has been taking months and Edcon has showed extreme poor customer service on their part. The unit costs R800, and the initial repair costed R6000 as per the repair receipt. All I want is for this to be resolved either by replacing the unit or refunding me for it.
