Didn't give reason as to why my account was blocke

I have been experiencing problems with my woolworths card for a while, as every time I went to the store to buy something they told me that my account was blocked, no one cared to give me a reason. this 1st happened on the 12th of May, 2nd time 25th of May and then yesterday the 2nd of June. As far as I know I've never called in to block the account, when I asked the cashier why is it declining she just said I must go to customer services, and wasn't even interested to check. What frustrates me is that when I make payments its fine but to purchase something it declines, to make things worse on the 25th of May I had to pay a penalty for blocked account which was ridiculous R86 and this time around I am not paying any penalties for something that I don't know who and why its blocked. I NEED EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT IS THIS.
