I bought a fridge from Game and confirmed with Sam the delivery date on 29 May 2013. On the day of purchase, I noticed Sam wrote the 31st as the delivery date. As Sam was not there, Erica assisted me and I explained to her the date is wrong and should be changed to the 29 as I've told Sam. Erica changed the date on my copy, but seemed to not note the change with their distribution centre, because on the 29th, I had to phone Sam at 15:30 and ask when will the fridge be delivered. Isn't it common client service to follow up on your clients' request / sale? I was told by Sam the fridge will only be delivered on the 31st, and according to him I confirmed that day. I was made to feel I was the one who up, even though I've confirmed the date with TWO staff members! It's clear that there are no viable communication between staff members at the retailer and distribution.
I spent a whole day waiting at home for a fridge to be delivered, wasted money on perishables, only to have the fridge delivered 2 days after, and when I finally open it, I notice a dent in the door! This is my first big purchase for my home, I'm thinking twice about buying at any Game retailer!!!
