Let down by sales person

Called Outdoor Warehouse on the morning of the 28th to enquire availabilty of a cadac gas regulating spanner.
Spoke to Phillp who said they ha done in stock. He agreed to put it aside for me for collection later that afternoon or first thing in the morning. Arrived at 08h45 on the 29th, having sat in the traffic for nearly an hour, to be told by Phillip the item had been sold!! His suggestion - Fourways have stock! this after making myself nearly 2 hrs late for work. Never once offered to order a relacement. typical "couldn't give a damm attitude".
You should get your manager to train the staff and instill some form of responsibility into them. Leaves a very bad taste.
