Freshline cakes

Today, in the mercury, Spar has freshline cakes advertised. It is a full page (page 7). The Avondale spar does not have stock. The reason that was given is that it was sold out. I find it strange that they will be sold out so early in the morning. When i spoke to somebody at the store i was told that each store is individually owned etc etc etc but that they are obliged to run the promos. Why do i need to be told about the inner workings of the franchise etc.

You advertised a product, make sures its available. End of story This is the second time that the store is out of stock
