Pathetic Service and reckless endangerment

I bought a wall unit yesterday at Makro, no service received on the floor, had to carry the unit to my car by myself. Once home, the inside booklet stated: "To be assembled by a qualified professional from the store bought at the buyers house". I immediately called Makro customer care, I was put on hold while she directed my call to the furniture department. No one answered, she said she will call me back. 15min later I called again, I was put through to the furniture department, then to the DIY department and back to the furniture department, all at my own cell phone expense. I asked to speak to a manager who was also nowhere to be found. They took my number and said they would call me back, manager called stating that they will look into it as they are unaware of this service and continued to assume the product is a DIY. Called back stating that the service is outsourced and the business is closed on public holidays. My home is a wreck with no space to move, I have a crawling child who is at serious risk to injury. I had to call a friend to assist, use the neighbours drill to setup the product myself. I want to be reimbursed for the cell phone costs (20min) as well as the setup!!
