I recently became a new tennant in a complex. ADT is the security company that the complex uses. I pay every month for their services, however our alarm system is not working. I phoned ADT just to organise for someone to come through to set up our alarm. From that 1phonecall, I am very worried about having ADT as my security company. I dont feel like I can rely on them for good service. The lady I spoke to on the phone couldnt understand me, and I had to spell the name of the complex many many times, which she still got wrong. She told me a technician would call me to set up an appointment for someone to come through. I specified a time when I would be able to speak, but of course that did not happen. I waited forever for a returned call, so I landed up phoning them back myself. The consultant I spoke to this time had a different story about what I would need to do. Do the consultants not know the process for setting up alarms? I was then given a phone number for a technician, which I phoned and left a message with my name and number. 2 days later and I am still waiting for them to call me back. How do I set up my alarm? I am alone over the Dec holidays, & no security to help me.
