Willing to Lose an existing customer of over 20yrs

I was sent an SMS from ADT offering a free alarm system and a subscription of /-R400. I am an existing customer and I am being charged over R700 per month! I need a new alarm and so responded only to be told that they would not offer the same deal to me. When I said I would cancel their service completely if they would not offer the same deal, they told me I should proceed and they would not reconsider!

Is this really customer service and loyalty after all these years!? and if they are doing a new customer drive, maybe they should consider rewarding existing customers who have shown loyalty!
