Called Maxidor last week & spoke to Lauren. After confirming that products are guaranteed for 5 years & services to be done annually. I asked for her to get somebody to call me back because the lock is stuck on one of my units. It's been several days & somebody from the customer service department has yet to phone me, after I specifically requested a call back because I was frustrated & didn't want to be transferred to anybody. Needless to say, I'm not entirely thrilled, especially after confirming that Maxidor are in breach of contract with me. I'm at the point now where I will remove the units altogether and replace them with cheap alternatives if I can avoid having to deal with Maxidor altogether. I've had the most shocking after sales service from them that I have ever experienced from a service supplier thus far. The only person on the entire Cape Town staff compliment who makes me not replace their products is a salesman by the name of Uche. Whether it's a quote for a new unit or a complaint on an existing unit, he responds & assists wherever he can. If only the rest of the company worked like him.
