No patrols but ridiculously high fees

We were told before we signed up with ADT that our area will be patrolled on regular basis, its been a year and there has been 1 patrol and nothing else. There has been numerous break-ins recently (another at 8am this morning) in our area, we have informed ADT of this and requested a call from a supervisor and yet NOTHING. We pay a fee more expensive than any other security because they claim to be the best - IF THIS IS THE BEST THAT ADT CAN DO I WILL SURELY BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE AS SOON AS MY CONTRACT EXPIRES. This is shameful and very bad client service. I have a right and you take my money every month without pause - what have I been paying for and will I get a refund for the 11 months that you DIDN'T patrol and do your work as per the contract we signed??
