Security

Sent Maxidor an email for a quote for a security door with a picture and measurements of the door to be covered. Their email response said they need to come to the premises to give us a quote. We are moving into a new house at the end of the month and do not yet have access to the property to arrange quotes, but would like to get quotes in advance for all the very important things so that we can have them attended to in the first few days after moving in - so early quotes and appointments are essential.
I phoned their call line with a request for a basic quote - just so that I have an idea of whether they are within our budget. The call center assistant said they won't give a quote over the phone. I mentioned that this is very inconvenient as I need quotes before occupation and asked that she mention this inconvenience to her managers as I'm sure they are losing business due to this - to which she cheekily responded 'No we don't'.
Needless to say, I will not be contacting this company again for a quote.
