Keep unsubscribing and keep getting spammed!!

I have unsubscribed from the distribution email list 4 times and still keep getting spammed by emails every day.
After each attempt to unsubscribe, the emails stop for about a week or two and then they start up again daily. Almost as if they put us on a "holiday list" which is then re-activated after a few weeks.
