Pathetic Service and attitude at entrance

Dont bother with this place. EVERYTHING requires cash there is NO ATM in the resort, you have to drive out of the gates, down the road to the nearest garage, which is just as useless! We stayed at the Merchant Hotel and the service there wasnt the best, but it wasnt the worst either. the waterworld boasts this aquazone with slides, heated and cold pools, etc, which is R60 entry for the day. we went there on Saturday to find out the details so that we could spend Sunday there. On Sunday. when we arrived, before paying the lady assured us that the indoor pools were heated. when we jumped into the water, it was FREEZING cold. there was a whole 6 people in the entire aquazone, i wonder why! people were complaiing that the indoor pools were actually colder than the outdoor. immediately we got out of the pool and went to the lady at the frontdesk, and with the biggest attitude said 'If you know temps you would know that the pool is 25degs". we asked her for a thermometer, she didnt have one and we asked her how she controlled the temp, she couldnt answer, refused to give the managers details. she called us ridiculous when we left, while serving others, so of course they too walked away!
