Tab Phumelela
Refusing to Repay Deposit

Opened an account on through the Phumelela Tab Website. Deposited an amount of R1000. Forwarded the FICA documents as requested. The document for proof of residence is my municipal account. The last account received from the Lichtenburg Municipality was in November 2012 and Phumelela will not accept this document. I requested that my application to open this account be cancelled and my deposit of R1000 be returned to me. Phumelala refused to return my deposit if I do not supply them with the documents they want. This is rubbish, I cannot provide the documents because the municipality cannot provide me with the documents. These guys are not honest in their dealing with their clients - STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! I will now immediaty get an summons issued againt Phumelela in the Small Claims Court.

I am warning people to stay away from Phumelela Tab and rather go to Gold Circle with whom I had an account now for four years without any problems.
