Cancelation of show without informing

Early in July 2013 I purchased double tickets for the Bellamy brothers show for December at the Grand West grand arena... When we got there last night (10Dec) we had to hear that the show had been cancelled. We had no idea and were extremely upset about this... How can they not inform customers of these cancellations? The tickets cost me well over 800 bucks!!! When purchasing tickets they ask for your cellphone number.. Why not just freaking sms us?! Grrrr most disappointed, especially because these tickets was a birthday gift and I was left embaressed when we were all dressed up, ready to go... Computicket sux!
