No age restriction on My Mom is Italian, My dad

Unacceptable response received from Theater!

I apologise that no-one has responded to your complaint.

"My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm in Therapy" is not a Pieter Toerien Production. Whenever an outside Company brings a production to our theatre, we ask if there is any Age Restriction. In the case of this production, we were told emphatically that there was nothing offensive or blasphemous in the play. We have had no other complaints to date.

I must admit on a personal level, just going by the title, it is not a play I would have brought an 8 year old to.

It is with extreme embarrassment and concern that I wish to point out that nowhere in the advertising or booking of this play did it give any age restriction, nor indication of the explicit sexual dialogue within it.

Having taken my 8 year old grandchild to experience theater you can imagine my horror and dismay at the content of the play.

Had we known that it wasn't just a one liner and that it would continue randomly throughout the play my daughter would have taken the child out immediately. This was an untenable situation that Montecasino Theaters put my family t
