Rihanna 13/10/13 - Disaster waiting to happen

I have seen major events like this is stadia all over the world - but never have I witnessed such incompetence or sheer abdication of responsibility from event management. I paid 80R for a car park ticket in 'official' parking - and could not identify any signage or official stewards for these car parks. When I did find it, it was on rough ground - no bays, no tarmac and no exit! We needed to leave early - and could not exit because of the way cars were parked.

Events run like this are an accident waiting to happen - and surely contravene Health & Safety regulations. A huge number of people (more than should have been there due to people being let in thru' side gates), crammed into a space with little or no logistical organisation. Should there have been an incident or mass panic the results would be catastrophic

There are many more unofficial staff there making money from merchandise and re-sold tickets (we were not allowed to retain our concert ticket stub at collection - why I wonder?) than there are official staff. It presents a real real danger. World class venue? It is only a matter of time before someone is killed and artists will avoid coming here altogether. Be warned.
