Problems with staff at the cinema

We went to watch a movie, like we often do on a Sunday evening. During the movie, there was a continuous knocking sound. We let it go thinking it would stop. Eventually, it became far too distracting and I went to look for the manager. I couldn't find the manager and spoke to one of the other staff members. She said that I wasn't the first person to complain and that there is a problem. I asked why we weren't made aware of the problem before we purchased the tickets. I said I wanted a refund. She told me that cashiers are not there to refund us. I then said she must call the manager because I'd like my money back. She then rudely said to me, she won't do that, I'm already watching the movie and while saying so proceeded to walk away from me. I was upset at how she spoke to me. she refused to give me her name - was not wearing a name tag. I went back into the cinema not wanting to miss any more of the movie. After the movie there was still no manager to be found. I am a loyal customer and I go to the movies every week. I do not expect to be treated this way. I am highly upset by the rude and disrespectful staff and for the fact that there was such a distraction during the movie.
