I purchased the explora as I was told it is the best thing in TV. After paying a huge amount for installation nothing worked as the pairing of the decoder and the smart card was wrong. I spent 55minutes on the phone to the call centre as Multichoice does not phone their clients back. They are happy to charge premiums for their product and still happier to have their clients pay for the call to fix the issue! I was told that the decoder did not have the latest software meaning that I had to drive to Randburg from Pretoria to resolve the issue. It worked for 5 days and then everything stopped I.e. extra view suspended, cannot record, delete, resolve conflicts etc. I have now tried to phone the call centre and surprise there is no line available and immediately cuts you off! My primary concern is how Multichoice completely disregards their client base based on their monopoly of cable TV in South Africa. I will certainly not recommend the explora to anyone.
