Extremely loud add breaks and promos

Recreation & Entertainment

Dstv increases the audio between programs and add breaks and promos. Its called audio leveling. The soft and loud audio points are leveled to loud only, making it unbearable in between programs. The volume has to be set down on your tv so it is not playing at extreme audio levels with add breaks, obviously to increase infomercial profitability, and when the program you are viewing returns, it is too soft to hear. We as the consumer never asked to have out tv's volume played at such extremes to max their revenue output, which is not fair. A law in the usa was recently passed to ban this practice of audio leveling. But dstv still does it without regard of their paying customer's satisfaction. Everyone should know about this. They just want their adds to have maximum profitability.
