Multichoice
Content on HD channels not broadcast in DD5.1

The DSTV HD channels are supposed to be HD video and HD audio. HD audio meaning Dolby Digital 5.1. Harry Potter was transmitted at 8PM on 2013/07/19 on CH108 MShowcase HD. As it is a HD channel, the audio should be DD5.1, but it was transmitted in DD2.0, which is plain old Stereo.

I pay for a Premium package which includes HD channels. Multichoice is not delivering what they are promising by not broadcasting in true HD. This is not a first occurrence and has been ongoing for a long time. Complaining directly to Multichoice has no effect.
