Disappointing Nu Metro Girls Night Out

Me and my friends (all girls) booked tickets for the Nu Metro Girls Night Out (GNO) last night (4 September) at the Nu Metro Montecasino. I'm not sure what's changed over the last few months with this event, because it's not much of an event anymore. Unlike previous Nu Metro GNO there were no goodie bags which usually adds to the whole idea of a pre-screening for girls-only, with girlie goodies. I wonder why Lux even sponsors the evening when they don't actually sponsor anything! It's no wonder that this event is attracting less and less attention. The cinema last night was pretty empty compared to other GNOs I've been to. Even the MC pointed this out! You are not going to pull in a crowd when you market something as an event and at the end of the day all it is, is a normal movie screening, with a few lucky draw prizes. Also, am I mistaken when I read that this is a 'girls-only' event?? It was shocking to see that Nu Metro sold tickets to men, then allowed them in when the lights were turned down for the movie!! Shocking... it seems like Nu Metro is only out to get women to buy into the idea of a 'Girls Night Out' with no actual perks for the ladies, but money in Nu Metro's pocket!
