DSTV have a monopoly in South Africa. They know it and take advantage in any way they can. The telephone operators are incompetent. I have requested they contact me a few weeks ago, but why should they. They are not customer focused, but rather play a political card to stay in the game. Imagine you have to pay R700 per month to be able to support any rugby, but soccer is on 3 channels at the same time. They rather promote international sport than local, and only make it available to the high income group, or the desperate who would rather get into more dept and fund their own back pocket. Well, I just missed my rugby game because I could not connect to SS1 on my Walka, while I could get all other channels. Strange. Or maybe not. I did not phone because the call would cost me more than a full day premium bouquet subscription.
