Account Query

Recreation & Entertainment

How can an account be in credit yet have insufficient funds? Without notification or authorization Multichoice moved money from my box office into my normal account on 02/August.

This evening 18/August I struggled to rent a movie yet my box office account had R700, speaking on the phone with three different people from 18:52 until 19:49 to get the money redirected back into my box office. Furthermore, I sent 5 sms' of being told there are insufficient funds yet my account has R700. This is rather unfortunate however as a service industry DSTV needs to communicate more effective and be able to resolve issues promptly. As a matter of fact I would like to reimbursed for the inconvenience of having my account being handled without my consent.

As a result normal account was now in credit, due to my payment and the redirecting of my box office fund. If the normal account didn't have credit disconnect it, re-connection is a mere R50 why move money between accounts without notifying the account holders?

Place competent people on your call centers who can asset with such query's this took an hour to resolve really? DSTV get your act together this is appalling to say the least
