Multichoice
No Backup for PVR

When you buy a PVR you pay for the privilege of watching the recorded item as many times as you please for as long as you have the PVR.
But therein the rub.
I am on my 4th PVR.
The stuff I record (classical music) is special to me - and I enjoy watching it over and over.
But, each time they exchange my PVR - I loose all recordings.
If they don't want ME to back it up because of copyright issues - they should offer the service free of charge.
My current PVR shows signs of packing up again - I dread the day...
Any advice- I have tried everything at Multichoice - the attitude is one of polite indifference
