We ve been Multichoice customer 4 many years. I feel we pay a lot 4 the privilege but most certainly dont get the service 1 would expect. The fact that there are mostly repeats (if u ve been a viewer for 12 mnths, very little new material will come ur way in future) which I ve seen the so called explanations 4 but certainly dont buy it. We re constantly getting pre recorded excuses 4 loss of signal. Now Ive purchased an HD PVR recorder in the hope that I can catch the few programs I ve not seen as they re usually scheduled when I m not able to watch. The number of times I get failed recordings due to signal lost is ridiculous, the number of times that the TV guide is not available is totally unacceptable. There are times that only the current programs are on (Which u can c on the grid) I cant get in2 the sports schedule, news, weather etc now since yesterday I can only get the TV guide til Sunday. How are u supposed 2 be able 2 schedule recordings like this!? I feel we re being ripped off & because Multichoice has the monopoly, nothing gets done. It seems like a case of like it or lump it. I m not @ all happy. When I email, response is we ll get back 2 u in within the next day. Blah!
