Technician's busy with projector repairs

I get off on Friday's from work. Then that's the day new movies get released at the cinema. Its a first time for me that this happens. Wanted to watch Pacific Rim, first show today at 9:00 o'clock show they said the technician's are busy fixing the equipment and they don't know if the 11:50 show is going to be screened either. My day is spoiled and my next off day is next Friday. Thank goodness I didn't book online. Please help, wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else again.
