Misinformed!!!

My dstv decorder is not working. I decided to upgrade toa pvr, but not wanting to use pvr functionalities, I also don't have the full package. I phoned and the guy ensured me I would only need 2 cables and dish upgrade if I want to use services like recording and when there is a decorder upgrade that needs to take place. This was confirmed several times.

Based on the info provided, I bought a pvr decoder and guess what- it couldn't be activated because I need 2 cables. MULTICHOICE will refund me for the upgrade fee of the dish, based on the incorrect information provided
