WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

Last week we checked the Gold Reef City website which clearly stated that the theme park would be back up and running by 1st June.
We therefore arranged for a party of eight adults and two children to spend Sunday 2nd June at the park.
We all drove through bright and early in four separate cars from afar, to stand in a queue and be told at the counter that the park was still not fully operational and that NO discount would be given on the entry fee as a result.
There were no signs outside the park to avoid wasting time in queues.
The two kids in our group were just about in tears when we walked away (because we felt it a complete paying full price), we were hugely disappointed and angry at the fact that we'd not only wasted a good two hours driving there and back but also the money wasted on the fuel spent for four vehicles!!!
I now see that the website has been updated and reads that a discount will be offered until 3rd June. Unfortunately it was updated just a bit too late for us.
Sadly disappointed and feel that the party of eight adults and two kids should be given complimentary tickets for when the park is fully operational again!
