Sexuality in adverts

As a concerned parent of children under 10, I ensure that I adhere to age restrictions and have always used my parental block on my dstv. However my hands are tied when it comes to the ads that dstv airs for upcoming programmes and series or movies. These ads have a sexual innuendo and we cannot block them. Example the ad for modern family shows a man clad in briefs gyrating his hips in front of a women who is sitting down and was aired at about 5 pm. Please don't play stupid dstv and think that kids are asleep or that parents can prevent kids from watching adverts. We are trying our best to protect our kids from a world that is obsessed with sex and you dstv are part of the problem because you are not concerned with the content exposed to kids but just in getting your ratings up. Does it make sense to have a parental block yet have sexual innuendo and images in adverts??? Where is your social responsibility in educating kids with correct values through media? The Bccsa will be receiving a copy of this complaint.
