Warranty on Packaging differs from Insert

Purchased a Zodiac pool cleaner and the box says that it is warrantied for a period of 3 years. Once I got home and opened the box, the enclosed card says the warranty is only 2 years. I used the contact form on their website to raise this issue and 2 weeks later I have yet to get a reply.
