Otto van Tonder opened a company called Property Skillz in 2007. He manipulated people into "investing" money in this business. He made people believe that they could by houses at a fraction of the cost by not buying alone and buying the house through a Trust. The loan would be 4 x the amount of the actual cost. This extra money would be used to pay of the house while tenants pay of your loan.. Needless to say the money was never put into the Trust and was mismanaged by Otto van Tonder and all the investors lost EVERYTHING! No tenants were ever found for the houses. Most of the investors are currently under debt review or blacklisted and are being sued by the banks for the money.

Otto van Tonder declared himself insolvent as not to be pursued by the investors. Now he is at it again in the property market! [URL Removed] Please DO NOT trust this man with R5 of your hard earned money!!
