Forfeited Deposit

I received the refund of the deposit and was shocked to see that you had deducted rent for November. I do not understand why you did this as I gave you a full month's notice of my intention to vacate the property and thought that everything was in order and that you had accepted the notice on this basis.

Please would you consider refunding me the R3, 000.00 that was deducted off my deposit for November because it was never explained to me at the time I signed the lease that I would need to give two months notice. I have now been advised that the lease stipulates that I needed to give two months but that the Lessor was only required to give one. This, I believe, is an unfair term that was imposed on me, though I explained
to him that can he accept 1 month notice due to a job at Vaal which will start commencing on the 1st Nov 2013

I wouldn't advice anyone to rent at this property.
