Non compliance with Consumer Protection Act

As the Act states I have 7 days known as a cooling off period, as a consumer to cancel a transaction that I have entered into. I listed my property on Friday 22 Nov 2013 (in full, paid and everything) and thereafter saw that the agents also had the property listed and requested a cancellation of the listing with immediate effect. I tried calling with no response at the customer care line and event tried communicating via the online chat-which doesnt work properly either. On Monday 25 Nov 2013 I get a response saying they can't refund me because they have already sent out msgs etc. How is this my problem? I requested cancellation in a possible span of 1hr from the time I wanted it listed?? disgusted with their service and complacency for complying with the laws
