South East Properties
7 Months - No work done as yet!

We've rented a townhouse from South East Properties in Witbank, about 7 months ago. Right from the start we experienced problems. When we asked them is the house ready to move in they said yes, everything is fine and the house is clean. We went to the house to open up so we could offload the first bunch of stuff. We were shocked to see what state the place was in (condoms in cupboards, dirty, door handles broken, cupboard door hinges broken, etc) We phoned Julie (the principal of South East Properties) to come and inspect the house. She said that she apologize for the state of the house and gave us R500 off our deposit to clean the place ourselves, she also promised to come and fix all the faults listed within the first month! They send out different "contractors" each month to come and see what is wrong and for quotes, but nothing has been done in the seven months that we live there, our rent is paid every month on time, but Julie can't keep to her verbal agreement to sort the place out! I am so very disappointed with the service level that we are getting from South East Properties, they get their comm every-month for doing nothing at all!!!
