Exuberantly overpriced

Had bugs & sparks come over for electrical, gas, bugs and plumbing checks. Bugs & plumbing was okay, but gas & electrical needed attention. Asked for a breakdown & received a R11k quote to repair. Asked if i may have someone cheaper do it & they inspect again, but the answer was: "no, we cannot guarantee other peoples work". That's odd, other "people" worked on my house prior to your inspection, which you inspected. You are inspectors are you not, irrespective of who did the job? Their quote included R67 per sticker for my individual breakers in my main DB board (stickers are 1cmx2cm and i got 50 for R5). Also four figure amounts to "bond" my satellite dish (parts was less than R100 and easy to install). One of the first things they also did was leave their Bugs & Sparks advertising stickers stuck all over my DB board & house without my consent. Long story short i bought the parts myself for less than R2k and fixed everything myself. Had the inspection done by someone who were not intimidated by someone else's work. Certified now. I will never ever use them again and will not recommend them unless you have loads of cash lying around.
