I live in my house here since 19 years now and keep paying my bills in time. T his month I received "A Notification of Disconnection Electricity Supply ". Charges for reconnection R126, --. It was not disconnected at all and I paid the amount via EFT. 3 days later the same amount came back as a credit on my account. This now happened the third time. I received a new invoice from Ethekwini 3 days ago in my mailbox, R 4043, -- higher than the previous one. And again the came yesterday to hand over a Notification of Disconnection with another R126, -- to pay.By all means;"WHAT ARE THEY DOING? " I pay a judge amount into there account and they sent it back. I sit here with my 91 year old mother (24/7) and a 12 year old boy and they threatening me to cut off electricity and water but always returning my payments. They have to pay bank charges for returning the payment and I have to pay bank charges as well. DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE?
What are these people in the accounts department doing.?? Is this the new Rainbow Country with such a poor service?
