The bus which is supposed to depart from my pick up point at 6.05am, from Olivedale to Braamfontein is often late or does not pitch up at all, leaving the commuters stranded.
Many of the commuters have to commence work at 7.30am, but on most days are late for work due to the heavy traffic because the bus is late or does't arrive, then we have to scramble to find alternative transport and despite having a bus ticket, we have to fork out cash to a fellow commuter who has to rush home and bring their car to car pool us to work.
The bus drivers who actually pitch up are always new faces and don't know the route, then lots of commuters are left behind.
I want someone in a superior position to address this complaint and not just give a reference number when one phones the call centre to complain, then niothing ever comes of the complaint.
I am seriously thinking of approaching Putco to send a bus on our route as they are more efficient and reliable, i don't see why Metrobus has the monopoly on our route, when the service is terrible.
