The 30th October 2013 we were on our way driving a Nissan Micra for a emergency due to an accident that had taken place near Potchefstroom. Our newly wed daughter in law was involved in the accident were by the vehicle that she was travelling in was written off. Due to the seriousness of the accident we travelled in excess of the required speed limit to get to the accident scene as soon as possible. The police was involved with the necessary requirements to be done at the scene and the number they supplied for the insurance is 62/10/2013 The infringement notice number received via the post 02-4052-002241929-6 for vehicle number FZM 336 MP require that a penalty to be paid towards the sum of R250.00 for exceeding the speed limit. As from the indication supplied, that we travelled at 136-140 in a 120 zone also shows that while being extremely anxious we still tried to obey the traffic rules. We normally travel at speeds set down by the traffic authorities but due to above mentioned explanation we had to exceed the speed limit.
