Corrupt and Selfserving City Power Staff

City Power has recently started upgrading their electricity meters, the problem is some of the people in Alexandra were connected to their neighbours and thus had no meters and cables connected to their houses. When asked to provide new connections, people are told that "there is no material". Later on the city power technicians will approach those people, offering to connect for them at a fee of R800; cable costs R30 per meter and the box which houses the earth leakage costs R150. This adds more frustration to the already suffering people of Alexandra.
