We sold a property that was registered to the buyer in October 2012.

We were not charged for property tax in November and December, but suddenly in January they subtracted the property tax from the deposit that is due back to us.

When I received the proof of transfer letter, I sent them emails on 3 January and again 11 January. I also sent the documents to them by snail mail.

There has been no response, accept for the bill I just received subtracting from the moneys due to us.

The Customer care helpline just said that she will waste my time giving me the details of the accounts department. She said there is a backlog at customer care and that I just need to wait and ignore the bills.

The problem that I have with this is that if we ignore the bills and allow it to run into arrears, we will be blacklisted.

I need someone to assist me with this matter before we pay any more money for a property that is no longer ours and to get back the money we already paid that is due back to us.
