CALLED 10111 NUMEROUS TIMES - NO ANSWER

Yesterday around 17:00 we were travelling just outside Parys, towards Sasolburg when we noticed a vehicle in front of us that kept crossing over into oncoming traffic. When it was safe my husband proceeded to pass the vehicle. While next to the vehicle, I noticed that the driver was drinking alcohol. My husband then allowed the vehicle to pass us again so that we could get the registration number & I attempted to phone 10111. I dialled 10111 & the number rang until it was disconnected, I tried again, once again the same happened. I probably redialled at least 5 or 6 times before the line was answered. We remained behind the vehicle & I tried to explain why I was calling & indicated the urgency of the matter, as the vehicle had crossed over into oncoming traffic numerous times & had narrowly missed hitting a few vehicles. I indicated the exact turn-off we had passed & that we were 8km from Sasolburg & requested that they send a SAPS vehicle to pull the vehicle over. The driver of the vehicle had noticed that we were following it & had sped-up to a speed of approx 170km/hr to try & get away. Poor service from 10111 allowed this reckless driver to get away!!!
