YOU GAIN AND WE PAY!!

Dear PEC,

It is mind boggling to think that 2 people who is "energy saving cautious" can contribute to a utility bill of 1098.24 a month. The amount would not have bothered me at all if we were careless, but the fact that we hardly ever cook, we switch off the geyser during the day while at WORK till say 18:00 and a after we have showered. We don't even use electricity blankets throughout the winter, yet we have a utility bill with stats looking worse than SA's unemployment rate. Upon enquiry you even have the audacity to tell the account holder MR M Coetzee that he can pay for his own electrician to come and check the readings. How blunt can a company get? I am aware that electricity tariffs have increased but going from R580 to an almost R1100 bill as energy savers is totally unacceptable. I don't want a sorry response of " We were right and you as the CLIENT were wrong" as per all your other monotonous responses to your complaints. All I need for you to do is to tell me what is causing our bill to stagger each month. You have the "Pro's" who read our meters so they are welcome to inform us. If we have to save any more we will USE NO ELECTRICITY WHAT SO EVER!
