Quest Meters
UNREALISTIC HIGH BILL

I stay alone at a complex in Kosmosdal. I was shocked when I received my bill for 1 October - 1 November to the amount of R1554. I am never at the flat during the day and I switch on the geyser an hour before bathing and then its off; and I cook at most twice a week. I have called Quest Meters to enquire about this and still have not had any assistance. They want to charge me an additional R250 for a call out fee and they cant even tell me where these meters are so that I can see & monitor them myself. I mean how do they come up with such a huge amount or do they simply estimate consumption? The previous tenant said she used to pay on average R600 for water and electricity and she stayed alone. I have now read up about this company and I agree, they are reaping people off. This is really not acceptable and something must be done!!!
